Solutions for HR
from The Talent Keepers Specialists
Focused one-to-one strengths-based coaching for employees and their line managers. Executive comeback coaching helps employees better understand their value and potential to the business and, through a personal action plan, supports their transition back to work.
I went into coaching sceptical about what I would get out. It was brilliant!
Our workshops reduce the feeling of stress and apprehension of returners, such as those that have been on maternity leave, replacing this with motivation and engagement. We run 2 workshops in parallel – one for returning employees and the second for their Line Managers.
Participants identify clear next steps to make an effective return – whilst supported by a Line Manager that knows exactly what they need to do to make this happen. Our workshops blend psychology, theory, discussion and practical exercises, all of which can be actioned immediately by the participant.
This is the first time we have run anything like this before and the feedback has been amazing, from both returners and line managers.
Our Managing Flexibly Workshop is for supporters and challengers of flexible working and designed to address harmful assumptions and open minds to the benefits of flexible working.
Our Career Progression and Flexible Working Workshop equips potentially trapped employees – working flexibly or part-time – with tools to develop their careers.
The workshops were unique in style for us in ARU as we hadn’t previously led a session for staff and then their managers. The staff session gave excellent grounding for the session with their line managers later in the day. All delegates rated the session highly as it provided practical, personal ideas and recommendations for furthering their career or supporting those that work for them. It was eye opening for line managers and we were able to challenge assumptions and promote our Part time and Flexible Working Forum through this work.

Short, personalised and practical guides and communications to support employees (and their line managers) preparing for, or returning from, an extended period of leave. These are made available for employees via a company intranet or other internal comms channel.
Since the production of the guides, we have seen a regular stream of downloads and positive feedback on social media. Regular comments from members focus on ‘the essential nature’ and ‘informative but not restrictive language’ of each piece of guidance, always crediting the confidence that they inspire. This is testament to the quality of the final product.
